I live in Warwickshire, England.
I have enjoyed dabbling in a variety of media for years but as soon as I started to play with glass, I was hooked. The draw is really to do with the effect of light through the glass, making strong, bright colours . My preferred themes are to do with nature and my favourite colours are the blues. The most useful tools in my workshop are my shovel ended tweezers (featuring in the picture) and plasters for my cut fingers.
My exciting news is that I have just joined the Church Lane Gallery in Banbury OX16 5LT. This exciting venture is run by a co-operative of artists so all the artwork comes straight from the maker with no corporate middle man! The Gallery is open on Wednesday to Saturday 10 to 3. Pop in to meet one of the exhibiting artists and chat about their work.
I also sell my glass through GJF Furnishings in Southam, CV47 0EA and through my Etsy, Instagram and Facebook pages where you can message me @eviebglass.
This year I will once again be exhibiting at the Warwick Open Studios Summer Art Weeks 18th June to 3rd July 2022 . Watch this space for more information nearer the time.
