I have enjoyed dabbling in a variety of media for years but as soon as I started to play with glass, I was hooked.

It is all to do with light.

The magical effect of light through the glass, making strong, bright colours .

My preferred themes are to do with nature and my favourite colours are the blues.  The most useful tools in my workshop are my shovel ended tweezers and plasters for my cut fingers.

The maker at a summer event with my handmade, fused glass designs on show behind me.
The maker in my studio with my kiln. Jars of glass resources behind me.

In the last couple of years, I have joined the Church Lane Gallery in Banbury, Oxfordshire,  OX16 5LT.  This amazing venture is run by a co-operative of local artists, so all the artwork comes straight from the maker with no corporate middle man!  The Gallery is open  on Wednesday to Saturday 10 to 3.  Pop in to meet one of the exhibiting artists and chat about their work.

I also sell my glass through my Instagram and Facebook pages where you can message me @eviebglass.

This year I exhibited for the first time in Oxfordshire Artweeks over the week 13th May to 21st May.  No217 in the brochure.  The fabulous Wise Investments hosted myself and eight other artists at The Great Barn, Chalford Park Barns, Oxford Road, Chipping Norton, OX& 5QR

I also be exhibited in Warwickshire Open Studios Summer Art Weeks July 2023 at Alexandra Arts (also known as The Alex) in Rugby. No 34 in the brochure.
